LA DOLCE VITA
It will include a tour of the facility with an explanation of the history of the building, of wine-making process and an introduction to wine tasting techniques.
It will include a mini-course on olive oil tasting with an explanation of the variety of oils, flaws and strengths found the tasting, the difference between extra virgin olive oil and olive oil. Possibility to taste typical Tuscan products (meats and local cheeses, wine and farm oil, homemade bread, pickles, etc..) and in the period of pressing activities (end of October – end of December) it will be possible to assist to the olives pressing process and to the olive oil production process.
Depending on weather and season, we will choose between walks in the countryside among gardens, vineyards and villas or visits to the major religious sites of the surroundings, such as the magnificent Oratory of St. Catherine, or to places of interest such as the medieval Castle of Monte Acuto.
To chat and greet friends who are returning back home, in front of a good plate of spaghetti or a delicious tiramisù!
